Passenger experiences with Z-Time range from adequate to severely problematic. The minority of positive reviews describe buses arriving on schedule, maintaining cleanliness, and employing courteous professional drivers — creating smooth travel. However, the overwhelming majority report endemic operational failures and poor customer treatment.
Delays are systematic, ranging from 40 minutes to over 1.5 hours with inconsistent communication. Vehicles frequently suffer poor maintenance: dirty seats and handles, broken or deliberately locked toilets, non-functional recliners, and unpleasant odors. Undisclosed or mandatory transfers — particularly at Novovolynsk — feature prominently, with passengers reporting surprise awakenings at 2 am for unannounced transfers and multi-station pickups that extend journeys unexpectedly.
The most damaging pattern is staff conduct. Drivers and phone operators are repeatedly described as rude, aggressive, and dismissive. Passengers report being stranded, dropped at wrong destinations, abandoned at stops during transfers, and verbally harassed. Support responses to complaints show condescension rather than resolution. Package delivery failures, refused refunds, and poor cargo handling further erode trust. International routes show worse service than domestic Ukraine routes, with particular complaints about behavior at border checkpoints.
