During holiday seasons, summer vacations, road construction works, and periods of heavy traffic, it is recommended to use alternative border crossings to avoid long queues.

Border with Hungary

Instead of the most popular Horgos crossing, consider the alternative Dala border crossing. This crossing serves only passenger vehicles and is available to Hungarian and Serbian citizens, as well as passport holders from the EU, Switzerland, Norway, and Iceland.

Border with Croatia

The crossings Batrovci and Sid operate 24/7.

Ukrainian citizens can stay in Serbia without a visa for up to 30 days. Longer stays require a visa. A biometric passport valid for at least 90 days after the departure date is required for entry.
