Queues and wait times
Because of the relatively light traffic and the streamlined control process, waiting times here are usually short, in the range of 5–20 minutes, and entry is often almost delay-free. For travellers comparing options nearby, the alternative crossings at Luzhanka — Beregsurány (about 18 km away, which does allow pedestrians) and Vylok — Tiszabecs (about 28 km away) can carry heavier loads. Up-to-date queue lengths and the longer-term crossing statistics for the Ukraine–Hungary route help in choosing the best moment to travel.
