Fueling Tips
- Prices in Germany are usually lower in the morning and evening
- E10 is cheaper than E5 but not suitable for all cars
- Check your car's E10 compatibility before refueling
- Fuel on motorways is usually 20-30 cents more expensive
FAQ
E5 contains up to 5% bioethanol, E10 — up to 10%. E10 is cheaper but not all cars support it. Diesel is for diesel engines.
Most cars manufactured after 2010 are E10 compatible. Check your car manual or the label near the fuel cap.
Cheapest fuel is usually at supermarket stations (Kaufland, Lidl) and independent chains. Avoid motorway stations.
