Brest — Terespol Border Crossing
Status: An international road border crossing on the Belarus–Poland frontier, located on the E30 trunk route between the city of Brest in Belarus and the town of Terespol in Poland. It operates around the clock, 24/7, and is the busiest crossing on the Belarus–Poland border, handling roughly 5,000 to 8,000 vehicles each day. Because Poland is part of the European Union and the Schengen Area, controls on both the Belarusian and Polish sides are thorough.
Transport: Cars, buses, minibuses, lorries and heavy trucks all pass through separate lanes. Live queue and wait-time data for the Brest → Terespol direction are tracked on the dedicated Brest checkpoint page, where webcams on the Belarusian side are also available.

Queues and wait times
Waits vary widely by time of day and direction. Overnight (22:00–06:00) delays are typically 1–2 hours, weekday daytime traffic runs 2–8 hours, and weekends often reach 6–10 hours. On public holidays queues can stretch to 8–14 hours, while trucks may wait 8–48 hours because of the double customs check when leaving Belarus and entering the EU. Note that the EU Entry/Exit System (EES) introduced in November 2025 records biometric data for third-country nationals on entry.
For current conditions check the live Brest queue data and review historical patterns in the Belarus–Poland crossing statistics before planning your trip.
