Does the EES system work at Sighetu Marmatiei border crossing?

Currently, the Entry/Exit System (EES) is not active at Sighetu Marmatiei border crossing.
EES is a new EU automated system being gradually implemented at Schengen Area borders. Once activated, the system will record the date, time and place of border crossing, as well as travelers' biometric data.
