Live bus map

Partner carriers' buses in real time: position, speed and delay vs. timetable — like our train and flight delay boards.

How bus tracking works

  1. The driver starts a shift in the NakBus Driver app — the phone becomes a GPS beacon. Off shift, nothing is transmitted.
  2. The position updates every 15–30 seconds and appears instantly on this map and in the carrier's widget.
  3. The system compares the real position with the timetable at each stop and shows the delay in minutes — just like our train and flight delay boards.

Questions & answers

Where is my bus right now?

Find the bus on the map by its plate or route — the marker shows its real-time position, speed and delay. Data refreshes every 15–30 seconds.

Why is my bus not on the map?

The map shows only buses of connected carriers, and only during an active driver shift. If your bus is missing, ask your carrier whether they joined the program (first bus is free).

How accurate is the delay information?

Delay is computed automatically: the actual time at each stop is compared with the timetable. Phone GPS accuracy is 5–15 meters; "on time" means within 5 minutes.

Is it free for passengers?

Yes — the live bus map is completely free and needs no registration. It works in any browser on phone or desktop.

I am a carrier. How do I add my buses to the map?

Activate tracking in the carrier dashboard — your first bus is free forever. No hardware needed: the driver installs the free NakBus Driver app, or we connect your existing GPS/AVL system. You also get a "Where is my bus?" widget for your website and an API.
