Diakove — Halmeu Border Crossing
Status: A major international road border crossing on the Ukraine–Romania border in the Zakarpattia region, on route M23 between the village of Nevetlenfolu (UA) and Halmeu (RO). It operates 24/7 and the EES entry/exit system is active. Most traffic is made up of cars, buses and TIR trucks, with around 3,000–5,000 vehicles handled per day.
Transport: All vehicle categories are accepted — cars, buses, minibuses and heavy TIR trucks (live queue Ukraine → Romania). An electronic queue (eCherha) is mandatory for freight vehicles, and there is no pedestrian crossing here.
