Spain restricts trucks and vehicle combinations over 7,500 kg GVW on most roads during summer weekends and certain public holidays, following an annual DGT calendar (Resolución BOE-A-2026-1255). The 2026 summer ban runs from Friday 26 June to Sunday 6 September: Friday from 13:00 to midnight, Saturday and Sunday all day. Exact roads and provinces are set each year by the BOE resolution — some provinces start the Friday ban at 13:00, others at 15:00.
