TruckTurn: HGV Navigator — Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the TruckTurn: HGV Navigator app ("the app", published by Nakordoni) on iOS and Android. By installing or using the app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. The service

The app provides navigation for trucks and other heavy goods vehicles: route calculation based on the vehicle profile you enter, turn-by-turn guidance, and information such as restrictions, driving bans, parking, fuel prices, speed cameras, tolls and border queues. This information comes from our own sources, third-party and open data and reports from other drivers; it may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. The app is provided "as is" and for information purposes.

2. Safe and lawful use while driving

• You are solely responsible for using the app safely and in compliance with the traffic laws of the country in which you are driving.
• Do not operate the device while the vehicle is moving unless it is safe to do so and permitted by local law. Mount the device in a fixed holder that does not obstruct your view, and use hands-free or voice functions where the law requires it.
• Set the destination, route options and vehicle profile before you start driving, or stop in a safe and permitted place to change them. Where possible, let a passenger operate the app.
• The app does not lock, restrict or monitor in-app use while the vehicle is moving. Whether and how you interact with the device while driving is your decision and your responsibility.

3. Route guidance is advisory

Routes, manoeuvre instructions, speed limits, vehicle restrictions (height, weight, width, length, hazardous goods), driving bans and all other information shown by the app are guidance only. Road signs, traffic signals, instructions from the police and other authorities, traffic law and actual road, traffic and weather conditions always take precedence over the app. Before every manoeuvre, check that it is safe and permitted. Routes are calculated from the vehicle values you enter — keep your vehicle profile correct.

4. Acceptable use

• Use the app only for lawful purposes.
• Reports and other content you submit must be accurate to the best of your knowledge and must not contain unlawful or offensive material.
• Automated data collection (scraping) and attempts to disrupt the service are prohibited.

5. Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Nakordoni is not liable for fines, damage, delays, accidents or other losses resulting from the use of the app or from reliance on its information, including incorrect or missing data, or from operating the device while driving. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including your mandatory rights as a consumer.

6. Privacy

How the app handles data is described in the privacy policy. You can request deletion of your data on the delete my data page.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. Continued use of the app after a change means that you accept the updated terms.
