Starting June 19, Ukraine's eCherha queue system rolls out updated functionality for registering freight vehicles heading abroad. The goal is to simplify customs document verification and make it automatic, without contacting the eCherha support service.

What changes during registration:

When booking a slot, drivers and carriers can immediately select the type of customs document the vehicle will cross the border with. If a shipment uses several documents, all of them must be listed.

  • MD-2 customs declaration
  • T1 document
  • TIR Carnet
  • Other customs document
🇺🇦 Key update:

Through an API integration, the system will automatically read data from T1 and TIR Carnet documents. Carriers will no longer need to send photos of these documents via the feedback form for verification.

If the "other customs document" option is chosen, a file upload feature becomes available. A photo or scan must be attached — without it, registration in the queue cannot be completed.

What stays the same:

For cargo under a special storage regime, the previous process remains: the customs declaration with the relevant special code is uploaded after customs clearance. Priority passage for vehicles with T1, TIR Carnets or Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) status is still in development and will appear in future updates.
