Latvia → Belarus is the reverse of the constrained Pāternieki–Grigorovshchina route. Outbound traffic into Belarus generally moves faster than inbound, but Latvian-side checks have been intensified — declaration of cash, electronics and dual-use items is enforced. Most Belarus-bound travellers are former residents or family visitors. EU sanctions limit what goods can be exported.
