In short: YakNak needs no account, email or phone number. It uses your
location to navigate and plan routes, and it can use the
camera (dashcam / road-sign detection) and
microphone (voice) when you turn those features on. It does
not use an advertising ID and does
not sell your data.
1. Location
- Precise location (GPS). Used to show your position on the map, give turn-by-turn navigation, and plan routes. Your position and route points are sent to our routing servers (nakordoni.eu) to calculate directions and show relevant information (such as border-crossing queues near you).
- Background location. With your consent, the app can keep using location while it is in the background or the screen is off, so navigation and pet-walk tracking keep working while you drive or walk. You are shown a prominent disclosure and asked to allow this the first time; you can revoke it at any time in Android settings.
- We use location only to provide the app's features. We do not use it for advertising and we do not share it with data brokers.
2. Camera & microphone
- Camera is used only when you enable dashcam recording or road-sign / speed-camera detection. Dashcam video is stored on your device. If you enable sign/camera detection, individual frames may be sent to our servers for recognition and are not used to identify you.
- Microphone is used only for voice features (e.g. voice input) when you activate them. Audio is processed for that purpose and is not used for advertising.
- The camera and microphone are never used silently in the background — only while the corresponding feature is active.
3. Anonymous device identity & profile
- Anonymous device identity. The app generates a random device fingerprint and can obtain a Nakordoni device key (in the form NKD-XXXX-XXXX). This is not a hardware ID, IMEI or advertising ID — it is a random value used only to recognise your install and sync your profile. You can view, copy, unlink or delete it in the app.
- Preferences. Your vehicle type, routing preferences, saved places, chosen language and theme are stored on your device and synced to our server so the same profile appears in other Nakordoni apps and on the website.
- Basic technical data. Standard request information (such as app version and, transiently, your IP address) and crash / diagnostic logs are processed by our server to deliver the service, fix bugs and prevent abuse.
4. Permissions
The app may request: location (fine, coarse and background), camera, microphone, notifications, a foreground service (to keep navigation / pet-walk tracking running) and Internet / network state. Each sensitive permission is requested only when the related feature is used, and you can decline or revoke it in Android settings.
5. Data sharing
Data is sent to Nakordoni's own servers (nakordoni.eu) to provide navigation, routing and border-queue information. Map and routing data rely on open map data and Nakordoni services. We do not sell your data and we do not share your identifier, location or profile with advertisers or data brokers.
6. Data retention & deletion
- On device: clearing app data (or uninstalling) removes local settings, saved places and cached maps on that device.
- On our server: to delete the profile and device key linked to your Nakordoni identity, unlink it in the app or email us at ads@nakordoni.eu and we will delete it.
- The anonymous NKD key lets you restore your profile if you reinstall and re-enter it.
7. Children
YakNak is a navigation tool intended for drivers and is not directed to children.

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
