On June 13, operations at the international checkpoint "Palanka – Mayaky-Udobne" have been temporarily suspended. This was announced by the Border Police of the Republic of Moldova.
Reason for suspension:
According to the Moldovan side, the reason for the restrictions was technical work, due to which there is no power supply at the checkpoint. The Customs Service of Moldova also noted that the temporary closure is related to technical problems in the information system of the Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
What drivers should consider:
Participants of cross-border traffic are urged to take the situation into account when planning trips and, if possible, use alternative routes for crossing the border between Ukraine and Moldova. Currently, there is no information on the terms of resumption of the checkpoint's operation.
