Ukraine's eCherha border booking system has put its new truck priority mechanism on hold. The operator announced on 18 July that additional technical work is required before testing can continue.

What carriers need to know:
  • The new priority feature is unavailable on 18 and 19 July
  • The system runs in standard mode — bookings and queue order follow the usual rules
  • A new date for resuming the test will be announced separately
Perishable cargo priority is unaffected:

The existing priority for shipments of perishable goods continues to apply exactly as before. Drivers carrying such loads do not need to re-register or take any extra steps.

Practical advice:
  • Plan your departure around your actual booking slot in the app, not around the expected new algorithm
  • Check live congestion at your intended crossing point before heading to the border
  • Keep cargo documentation ready if you are claiming perishable-goods priority

The priority test was originally scheduled to begin on 17 July, so the pause comes just one day into the trial.

🇺🇦 Ukraine:
  • 18-19 July: new functionality switched off across all eCherha-managed crossings
  • Perishable cargo priority: remains in force
