On Tuesday, September 9, traffic on the DN 5 road toward Giurgiu was completely blocked due to a road accident near the village of Daia, Giurgiu County ([Romania](https://nakordoni.eu/en/country/romania)). A minibus carrying passengers collided with a truck. The minibus driver was injured. Romanian road police closed the road completely — to inspect the scene and evacuate the injured person.

According to Romanian police, traffic was expected to resume after 14:30. However, after such accidents, scene inspection and debris clearance often take longer, so drivers should allow for a possible longer delay.
