Travelers crossing into Poland by coach should plan ahead: from June 15, 2026, the Medyka road border crossing is changing how buses are processed on the entry route into Poland.

##### What is changing:

The bus clearance building (BOA) on the inbound lane to Poland is being rebuilt. During the works, coaches will reach the inspection booths via a lane on the southern side of the crossing.

###### 🇵🇱 Poland (entry from Ukraine):

- Effective: June 15, 2026 until works are completed
- Affected: coaches and buses entering Poland
- Reduced processing capacity expected — longer waits likely

##### Practical advice:

The Polish Border Guard recommends considering alternative crossings while the construction continues.

- Korczowa
- Malhowice (Niżankowice)
- Other regional crossings
