# Netherlands: Weekend Closures on A12, A15, A27, A35 Highways

The Netherlands Traffic Authority (Rijkswaterstaat) has announced extensive roadworks and closures across several major highways from September 4 to September 7, 2026. Drivers of cars, trucks, and buses are advised to check alternative routes and expect notable delays.

##### Major Closure Locations and Schedules:

###### 🇳🇱 Netherlands:

- **A12 towards Arnhem:** Closed between Lunetten junction and Veenendaal-West from Friday, Sep 4, 21:00 until Monday, Sep 7, 05:00. Detours are available via A27, A28, A1, A30, and A2/A15/A50.
- **A15 towards Ridderkerk:** Closed between Benelux and Vaanplein junctions from Sep 4, 21:00 to Sep 7, 05:00. Rerouted via A4, A20, and A16.
- **A27 both directions:** Closed between Gorinchem and Everdingen junctions from Sep 4, 22:00 to Sep 7, 05:00. Traffic diverted via A15 and A2.
- **A35 towards Enschede:** Closed between Hengelo-West and Hengelo-Zuid from Sep 4, 20:00 to Sep 7, 05:00 via A1, N347, and N18.
- **A73 towards Venlo:** Rijkevoort to Vierlingsbeek section closed for maintenance over the weekend.
