# Dolhobyczow rebuild until end of 2026: delays into Poland

Travellers crossing from Ukraine into Poland at **Dołhobyczów** should expect slower clearance for a long time to come. The Polish side of the crossing has entered a full modernisation phase that will last **at least until the end of 2026**, with disruption announced for both passenger and freight traffic on the inbound direction into Poland.

##### What the works involve:

This is a structural rebuild rather than routine maintenance, so throughput will vary from week to week as different areas are handed over to contractors.

- **Inspection lanes** — reconstruction and reallocation between vehicle categories
- **Infrastructure** — upgrades to meet current standards
- **New buildings** — additional service facilities on site
- **Traffic layout** — temporary changes to circulation inside the crossing are possible

###### 🇺🇦 Ukraine:

- Departures run through the [Uhryniv checkpoint](https://nakordoni.eu/en/id/id_5), where queues will build before Polish processing
- Cars and trucks are both covered by the warning

###### 🇵🇱 Poland:

- Delays are officially flagged for the **entry into Poland** direction
- The number of open lanes may change during the day

- Check live queue data before you leave — neighbouring crossings can differ by hours
