# Abolition of Curfew for Transit in Odesa Oblast: 24/7 Passage to Checkpoints with Moldova and Romania

Starting August 17, 2026, the Odesa Regional Military Administration abolished curfew restrictions for the transit movement of all types of transport heading to international border checkpoints. The decision was made to reduce travel time for citizens and carriers crossing the state border.

##### Movement Route and List of Checkpoints

Round-the-clock passage is permitted exclusively along state-importance highways via a designated corridor: from the M-05 Kyiv – Odesa highway through the Odesa city bypass road. The 24/7 transit mode operates in both directions — both when heading towards the state borders with Moldova and Romania, and when moving from the border deeper into the country.

##### Important Restrictions and Warnings for Drivers

- **Curfew Maintenance:** Throughout the rest of Odesa Oblast and directly within the city of Odesa, the standard curfew remains in effect daily from 00:00 to 05:00.
- **Corridor Compliance:** Exiting designated state highways or entering populated areas during curfew hours is strictly prohibited.
- **Document Verification:** While traveling along the transit route at night, drivers and passengers must carry supporting documents for the vehicle, cargo, and passports.
