# Grebenne: Repairs Starting August 17, Expected Queues at Rava-Ruska

Starting August 17, 2026, the Grebenne customs division (the Polish side of the border checkpoint opposite Ukraine's Rava-Ruska) is launching repairs on concrete pavements, linear drainage, and expansion joints. Part of the terminal territory will be closed in phases, temporarily reducing throughput capacity.

###### What is being repaired:

The works cover concrete pavements on maneuvering roads, as well as parking areas on the entry and exit slabs from the Polish side. These are the exact areas where vehicles are distributed across control lanes and wait for inspection.

###### 🇵🇱 Poland — Grebenne:

- From August 17: partial decommissioning of maneuvering roads and parking areas.
- Fewer parking and inspection spaces, slower vehicle rotation inside the terminal.
- The completion date for the works has not been announced.

###### 🇺🇦 Ukraine — Rava-Ruska:

- The Ukrainian side operates normally, but receiving cars from Poland may slow down.
- Queues are likely to accumulate on the approach rather than on the checkpoint territory itself.

###### Practical Advice:

Allocate at least an extra hour for crossing, especially during evening hours and weekends. Check current queue data before departure and consider neighboring checkpoints—Uhryniv or Shehyni. As a reminder, restrictions were already in place on this route in the spring: the bridge closure on the M-09 near Kulykiv did not block approaches to Rava-Ruska, so the route remains operational.
