# Check Ukraine exit restrictions online in real time

The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine has launched an online tool that lets travellers check in real time whether any exit restrictions apply to them. The goal is to avoid unpleasant surprises directly at the border checkpoint.

##### What the new service offers:

Previously, many people only learned about a restriction while going through border control, when they were already being turned back. Now the status can be verified in advance, while planning the trip.

###### 🇺🇦 Ukraine:

- The check is performed online and shows the current status at the moment of the request.
- The service is aimed at people crossing the border by car, bus or on foot.
- It is best to check a few days before departure, leaving time to resolve any grounds for a ban.
