# Germany continues intensified border controls with Poland — drivers warned of traffic jams

The German side has announced the continuation of intensified checks at the border with Poland. Although checks remain selective, their duration and increased intensity lead to a noticeable increase in waiting times — especially on busy routes towards Germany.
