# eCherha Expands: Online Queue Booking Coming for Cars, Updates for Trucks and Buses

Ukraine's Ministry of Communities and Territories Development has announced a major expansion of the **eCherha** electronic queue system. For the first time, private car drivers will be able to book a border crossing slot online, while functionality for freight and bus operators is being upgraded.

##### What's new for private drivers:

The flagship change is online slot booking for passenger cars. The service will be integrated into the **Diia** app and remain available on the eCherha website and mobile app. It applies equally to Ukrainian citizens and foreign drivers crossing in their own vehicle.

- Automatic verification of the **Green Card** insurance policy at booking — just enter the vehicle plate
- Option to specify **T1** customs documents or **TIR** carnets, validated automatically
- Priority lanes for carriers with **AEO** (Authorized Economic Operator) status

###### 🚌 Buses:

- Queue booking for transit routes through Ukraine
- Repeated registration of shuttle services under one permit number
- Vehicle substitution mechanism for irregular services
- One-time use of **Interbus** journal pages and permits
