# Belarus Restricts Entry for EU Trucks: Queues Forming at Grebneva Border Crossing

The Republic of Belarus has implemented new entry restrictions for freight vehicles registered in European Union member states. The restrictions primarily target trucks with Polish and Lithuanian registration plates, along with other EU-registered commercial vehicles.

- **Polish-registered trucks** — entry prohibited
- **Lithuanian-registered trucks** — entry prohibited
- **Other EU-registered trucks** — potential restrictions, verification required

##### Current Border Situation:

The Grebneva border crossing point on the Latvia-Russia border is experiencing significant delays. Due to queue formation, drivers are receiving SMS invitations to proceed to the checkpoint barrier later than originally scheduled.

Before planning any trip through the Belarusian border, verify whether your vehicle is permitted to enter Belarus. Contact your transport company or customs broker for the latest regulations. Factor in potential delays when planning routes and delivery schedules for freight shipments.
